Losing My Voice

HOBY. HOBY. HOBY. What else can I say? It's always the best weekend of my year. Granted that there's no sleep, and you don't get paid. But you get to see shy kids come out of their shells, maybe even for the first time. That is the greatest feeling in the world. There's long hours, alot of cheering and yelling. Plus I'm losing my voice.

Music To My Ears

I like when I'm just sitting and listening to the rain. It's almost like you can hear every single rain droplet hitting the ground one at a time, but somehow they fit together and make a pretty sound. It melts away all other things. It's almost as if as the rain fades the chalk from the sidewalk, it makes your problems fade. There's nothing in the world that sounds as distinct and wonderful as rain. Plain and Simple.

An Awkward Reunion

I can't believe that it's really been a whole year. I really haven't blogged in a WHOLE YEAR! It's positive in the sense that I haven't been on he computer a whole lot but it's a negative because I stopped writing. Lots of things have changed however, I'm not the same by a long shot. I've matured very much in this past year. I've learned quite a lot, such as not taking things for granted and to live every moment to the best of my ability. But just because I've learned it doesn't mean that I'm doing it. And I'm not saying that I'm not trying, it's just taken the metaphorical backseat to other more important things. I'm thinking about colleges now, my senior year, and what I want to do with my life. I'm still thinking biology, and the medical sciences. We walked around the University of Scranton today and it seems like a very nice school. Um.. Well, this has been quite the interesting welcome back post. In short, I'm happy to start writing again and I plan on doing more of it.

Happy Mothers Day. I haven't seen my mom at all today, just my grandma. She and Papa came from Florida for my confirmation on Tuesday. I'm so very bored with them here. They're almost eighty and move quite slowly. But that's neither here nor there. (I just love saying that)
Lately I've been having new hopes for my future. I want to go into Biology and still go to college in Scranton. But I really want to live near New York city. For some reason the city excites me. Mostly this interests me now because we've been going into the city a lot lately. So much that I just want to live there. Well I would get into this more but my Grandma wants my help.

Haven't blogged in a while. For that I'm am sorry. I could say that I've been busy but that's a lie. Since the show ended I haven't been doing much. This and that. I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled sometime very soon. That won't be fun. I've become a mentor, that is fun. I bought an iTouch on ebay and it's pretty cool which reminds me. I need to go leave feedback. It's been a month. Gotta love boring.

Relief!

Once Upon A Mattress was a success! It was awesome. Everyone did really well. The opnly downer during a show was when I had to run off stage in the middle of a scene to throw up. I ended up feeling a lot better later that night. I think it may have been because I was really run-down. I had gotten barely any sleep that whole week. Ugh. Tonight will be a sleep well deserved!
